sorry guys!
It's been a month since I last blogged?
I guess nothing fun has really happened since.
I did the CN Tower stair climb. I went with Steve, Mat, and Victor. I was the slowest with a time of 17:45. Slower than last year. BOO!!! We met up with Rachel at the top. Brie, Jessie... where were you two?
Maddy went too, but a few days earlier. They were doing the corporate thing. I think she raised the most money. Congrats, Maddy!
I'm so proud of everyone who went!
My next goal... I think... is to run 10K. So out of shape, though. Tried jogging with Steve, and nearly died! Anyone who's up for 10K, go to www.runto.ca I think they have food and massages and a battle of the bands and stuff at the end. Super cool stuff.
My biggest change in the past month... I'm back in 'loo now. I've had my first week of classes. I have my 20 page report due Monday at 4, and I have an assignment due Monday morning, and I have no clue how I'm going to get it all done, seeing as I've hardly started. Bleh.
Last Friday, I had to have a 4th year project picked out. I'm going to be designing a test apparatus for measuring the tensile forces and strains on biological tissue, such as eyes and embryos. I hear the metal we'll be holding the tissue with will be microns thick. Cool!
Lastly, but certainly not least, Victor's headed off to Europe for the next 5 weeks. He's in England, and I think they're travelling from there to Germany, down through France to Italy, along the coast to Spain, and then he stays there while others go North to Holland and such. I'm envious, but it's his grad trip. When he comes back, he'll have a job in Oakville.
Don't forget your fuzzy socks, Victor!
